Testimonials
What Families are Saying
“I absolutely loved my time as a teen intern at Soaring Eagle, after having participated as a Soaring Eagle student from ages 7-12. It was so rewarding to see the kids making the same connections with the natural world that I had learned about a few years prior, and I really enjoyed getting to share my knowledge with them at the same time as learning from the very knowledgable instructors! It was a privilege to see the kids’ connections to the forest develop and to get to develop my own leadership skills.” – Cara, Teen Intern
“I interned at SENS and my experience was fulfilling. I had a really great time with all the wonderful staff and kids out in the forest, building forts, telling stories, making tea, playing games, whittling, and learning all about the plants and creatures that live in this region. It was great to learn more about how to instruct on these topics. I felt like I was a valued member of the team, and it all really inspired me to do more things like this in the future!” -Sati, Teen Intern
“SENS offers, I believe, remarkable opportunities for learning, connection, fun and adventure. Our family members have very much enjoyed taking part in youth programming, adult workshops and teen internship over the years. The brilliant SENS instructors are highly skilled in teaching and facilitating, and meet everyone where they’re at. They take care to create a nurturing, safe, respectful environment, where everyone is supported in learning, all the while keeping it engaging and very, very fun! The inspiration and quality of content that this organization delivers cannot be overstated; the value here is excellent, and we know we will benefit from our involvement with SENS for many years to come.” – Kerry, Program Parent
