Using city parks as our venue, we go on adventures in small groups, and learn about plants, mammals, tracking, birds and survival skills. Our trained instructors are there to support students as they deepen their connection to the natural world, as well as their sense of place. While these explorations and adventures are happening, students are also gaining invaluable skills, such as: common sense, problem-solving, community and team building, effective communication, expression of gratitude, as well as reverence for nature, and respect for self and others. We achieve this by having a high staff-to-camper ratio.

The nature camp was awesome. I can’t wait for the next one! – Kai, Summer camper
I really enjoyed wandering in the forest and finding our own path back. I also like the challenges they gave me. I loved the freedom and the level of learning in this nature camp. It was my favourite camp! – Claire, Summer camper
Everyday, our kids come home dirty, tired and happy. This morning, we stopped along the trail and my son said, ‘Mommy, this is a vine maple…and that’s a red alder.’ He is 5 years old! Its a great camp! Its great how you integrated the younger kids into the mix, especially by encouraging the older ones to get involved with being inclusive. – Kira, summer camp parent
